CEREC or Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics is a technology developed in 1980 by W. Mörmann and M. Brandestini. Visiting CEREC dentistry, a patient can get dental restorations in the least amount of time possible.
How is it done?
Also called CERamic REConstruction, CEREC starts off with the dentist using an intraoral camera to take images of the preparation of the restoration. Based on these images, the CEREC software will create a virtual model showing the patient’s oral situation.
Afterwards, the software will construct the tooth restoration using the images, and then send it to a milling machine, which is located either within the clinic or to a third-party service provider. In a matter of 6 to 15 minutes, the milled tooth restoration is done, and will be sent to the dentist who will make the final preparations.

Great staff. The team at the front was courteous, friendly and extremely helpful. I had Dr. Ko as my dentist.
