Dr. Sonia Beheshtinia – General Dentist

Dr. Sonia Beheshtinia is passionate about helping patients achieve healthier smiles while making their dental experience as comfortable and positive as possible.

Having grown up in North York and spent most of her life in the Greater Toronto Area, Dr. Beheshtinia has strong roots in the community. She completed her undergraduate studies at McMaster University before earning her dental degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. She has also completed additional training and certification in minimal sedation using nitrous oxide, helping patients feel more relaxed and comfortable during their dental visits.

For Dr. Beheshtinia, one of the most rewarding aspects of dentistry is the opportunity to make an immediate and meaningful difference in someone's life. Whether relieving pain, addressing discomfort, or helping a patient feel more confident about their smile, she loves seeing the positive impact that dental care can have on a person's overall well-being. She particularly enjoys the artistic and aesthetic side of dentistry, where science, precision, and attention to detail come together to create beautiful, healthy smiles. Dr. Beheshtinia is committed to continually expanding her knowledge and skills to provide her patients with the best possible care.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Beheshtinia enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and travelling. She loves exploring different cultures and trying new foods wherever her travels take her. An avid animal lover, she has two dogs and a cat who keep life interesting at home! Giving back is also very important to Dr. Beheshtinia. She is passionate about dental outreach initiatives that provide care to underserved communities and hopes to make this a meaningful part of her career. Dr. Beheshtinia looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients and helping them feel comfortable, confident, and cared for at every visit.
